I did not plan on it however I put my new delrin gearbox to the test. I put the old mechanical gyro on my 110 so as to save it for the Corona I am building.
I forgot how twitchy the 110 was with the mechanical gyro. Makes flying much more interesting. Do to pilot error I hit a branch on our oak I cut throttle and watch as my LMH hits the ground tail first. It shoved the boom forward so as the front two gears were out of alignment and it was locked up. I am glad that I cut the throttle or I would have striped out the main spur gear. Any way the delrin gearbox held up great.
