are any of you flying without the air filter? I lost the inside piece of the filter and I cut a piece of the scrubber side of a sponge and stuffed it in there, I was gonna go without but, it says in the manual that it is important to help keep fuel draw high....and mine has to be at about 1/2 throttle before the main rotor starts to move...I dont remember the .061 being like that, maybe my clutch shoes need to be pryed out some....Rog

Hey Rog,
Most helis don't have a filter anyhow. It's only for the really dusty places where the collective kicks up all the dust. If you do decide to use the sponge, make real sure that it's clean, and soak it with air filter oil or some fuel to help catch the dust!
Also, your clutch is too tight. The rotor should be engaging a little farther than idle. Adjust it somehow so the spring is softer, and the clutch shoes have more weight, or less counterweight material.

Ok I finally get my washers so I can lower the compression on the new .074 and break it in on the heli..its not quite ready for flying yet...Out at the field the other day a guy has a century Hawk heli...it looked huge, like it was a .90 size compared to my LMH..oh well, guess I'll actually start to fix it up now......wish someone would come up with collective pitch for the glow model,,,,Rog
