Default Engine power

Is there a secret to getting the .06 engine to develop enough power to get off the ground. I am getting tired of sliding around the ground. I have a LMH and have only made several little hops for 5 to 10 seconds and then the engine seems to lose power and die. I know its not running lean because there is fuel running out the carb. I also notice that there seems to be fuel seeping between the heat sink and glow plug. How do you stop that, I've tightened the heat sink as tight as I can.

You are describing a cylinder head leak. Cylinder head leaks always cause the engine to run hot. As the cylinder expands away from the piston, the compression goes down and so does the power. Bent glowplug washers, dirt under the plug or a bad glowplug seat could all be factors. Please call our tech support line for more help.
