Just wondering if anyone knows where to get the vmax-7 upgrade.
Here's my story... I got the 110 about 5 years ago (or so) and flew it quite a bit when I first got it. Then it took a couple year break, only to be brought out this summer for a flight attempt. The vmax-6 was having a severe problem with power loss. When I first started the chopper and made the needle adjustments, it would have all sorts of power. Then after running it for a minute or so, the power would decrease to the point where I couldn't get it off the ground. I thought I might try a new glow plug... good luck finding a vmax-6 plug these days!
I started doing some research on it only to find that parts have become pretty difficult to find. It seems like Norvel (and LMH) have really put their helicopter products (outside of the corona) on the back burner, or even taken them completely off the stove! I just don't know if it's worth trying to keep this chopper up and running, or move on and get the Century Hawk Pro 30? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't try to upgrade to the v-max 7. If you have already learned how to fly, just by the hawk pro. I am converting mine model 117 to electric only because i need the added durability of the Corona. I only got 2 minute flights with the v-max 7 and i have gone through two of them. One blew its connecting rod. The other one is a warranty replacment. Even when it did run out of gas, it wouldn't start after that. I am so frusturated with it. More damage has been casued to my heli becasue of that. It is not helping me learn at all. I hope the electric goes better
By the way, i have 5 other nitro engines and have had no problem getting them running. I just wouldn't recomend the V-max 7
