Default Canopy Question

Has anyone seen or come up with a simple or ingenious way to attach the canopy. Attaching the canopy, as indicated in the kit, is a pain. I'm sure most fly without it but I would like to figure something out. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Default Canopy Question

Canopy removal to change battery packs between flights is a pain and maybe the only thing I didn't like about the Corona. Several of us happy Corona pilots have opted for the E-Voyager landing gear which places the batteries below the chassis and betwee the LG struts. You can buy the skid set a number of places on-line for around $12-14.00. It also adds to the kewl factor in the looks department. Once done, the canopy only comes off for maintenance or damage control (Heh, Heh).

So the E-Voyager landing gear bolts right on? Got any links as to where I can get one?

Horizon Hobby or Roffe TV and Hobby can fix you up. It's not a bolt-on exactly. You need to fab a rear mount from the scrap ply left over from the crutch and then strap the LG on with tie wraps.
