Default My converted E110 flies!!!

Hi,
It is finally flying! It's much more fun to fly than the glow version. I flew it for the first time this morning. I first tried to fly it on 6 cells a few weeks ago with no success. Now, I'm using 8-2000mah cells Panasonic Nimh. Much more power with those cells. I don't know yet the flight time, I still have to make some adjustments. I'll post it later.

Here is my current set-up:

Kyosho Atomic Force
Aluminium motor heat sink
9T pinion
Futaba MC114H heli esc
8-2000 mha Nimh Panasonic
Heli-Max micro gyro
HS-81MG
535 receiver
2*6 degree blade grips

Someone else is using th Futaba MC114H esc?

Sylvain I really like to plug and fly!!

Here is a picture of it with my homemade Schweizer 300 canopy:

Hi Rog,
this is only a prototype and it is pretty heavy at 90gr. for an electric heli. If your 110 is glow powered 90 gr. is not a problem. I will make some other canopy like this one and I would like to cut the weight down to 40gr. It is made of styrofoam with about 6 layers of glue to cover the foam. If you would like to have the red one on the picture, maybe I can sell it to you.

Sylvain
