Default LMH Fuselages

Well today I got one of the final evaluation fuselages. It weighed out under the prototype which was done in fiberglass and flew without a hitch. So weight isnt going to be a problem. So far I like what I see and I see production happening really soon. Im attaching some pics here and by the pics you can see that Im skinning my Lmh and Im using screws and nylon washers. Of course Im screwing the screws into wood plates inside the fuselage. This one is going together really good. I was asked about access to batteries on the Electric version. If it was me, Id probably cut the front third of the fuse off and build some kind of bulkhead or put plates along the side and top so I can screw it on or off. There is so many ways to may equipment accessible. If you noticed I flying a gas model, I made the cut out for the engine heat sink a 2 in diameter. I also plan to cut a slot on the side where the fuel tank is so fuel consumption can be monitored, also put about a 1/4" hole in the side to thread my refuel line through. These fuses are going to be pretty much undetailed. There are plans to later on put score lines, windshield, and door outlines(requires mold modification). Dont forget to email if interested in them. oh yes it does have a tailboom cover (not mounted)

There would be some mess inside there after a day of flying being closed in like that . Owell it looks good, it's going to look real good when you get some paint on it. Nice Job

Its a given being a gas model. Oh well give me something to do while taking a break between flights. Id hate to think I was to lazy to clean my bird off. Probably fly it all day then at the end of the day, clean it up. . Well, electric guys wont have to worry about that.

Looks like it's coming along great. Keep me on your list for this and the Hughes 500. Please consider an Airwolf/Bell222 somewhere down the line of your products. I won't say anything about the glow fuel since I'll have an 8 cell NiMh pack tucked in t's belly.

I know Ive been lacking in some pics of the Hughes 500. Today,
I got a complete fuse from the producer today to evaluate. I kinda threw it on the LMH to see what it looks like and how it would fit. So far Im impressed . Weight definitely wont be a problem with these fuses. I have already told the producer we will roll with what these two are. My next step for the ones I have is some detailing.

The door templates, tailfin templates and the cut out templates will be included.
I dont have a template for the windshield and chin bubbles. Ill see what I can come up with. I plan to one day have the outline inscribed onto the mold so that the imprint will show up on the parts.
Ok, the windshield and chin bubbles will be inscribed on the parts, the mold has been modified.
