It was an idea that I played around with in my head for a while and I finally did it. Fabricating a bell 47 helicopter frame to fit Corona 120 Helicopter parts, See images below.

Sorry I have no recording devices, but the Frame was made from Wooden Dowels, I was going to use aluminum tubing, but figured it might be too heavy, as for the bubble, it was hard to find any the right scale size, so I had to construct one from a clear christmas ornament, a large one in fact, you can purchase it here> http://factorydirectcraft.com/catalo..._ornament.html
it had to be glued together then the door openings cutout and the bottom cut off to leave a flat spot for the floor. the Cockpit instuments were printed from google images and shrunk in photoshop to fit a balsawood made instument board. use your imagination and it will turn out just fine..!
