The 053 is mid range power
The 063 is low end power
The 086 has pretty good all around power
It just depends on what ya want..
I run the 053 on my race set up. Its a good mid range pipe for short tracks, with a nice improvement over the stock pipe.
The 063 is for monster torque, good for racing on short tracks with lots of turns...Great for powering out of the corners
The 086 pipe is a decent all around, I used it on my Savage with good results...It does not however out perform either the 053 in mid range, or the 063 in bottom end power....I thought the 086 was a good all around bashing pipe. I can not say weather it would be good or bad to use for racing because I never used it to race....
