Thanks for the compliments guys. Im real happy with this stuff. Next up is the Brake kit i ordered. I think im gonna scrap the polished pipe for the hard ano'd pipe too. I need the hard ano'd wheel hexes, and i really...really...really... want the large fuel tank. Im also still dying to see Losi's racing tire. Gotta have them too...

I believe one of the magazines pictured the HP skids that were on Drakes car at the Proline race this year, if I remember correctly the front and rear are machined a little differently than the HD ones and they might be a different material, the HP center skid is totally different without the spur gear guard and skid for muffler, it almost goes straight across from the front two screws has some holes to make it look cool and is the same color as the HD F and R skids. This is all from memory, a friend took some video of Drakes car up close and talked to him about it but he hasn't brought the video by so I could make a copy of it.

I have been running a Carbon Fiber chassis for some time now, I have also made all the aluminum plates on the truck out of CF, with the top chassis and the three lower skids made of CF my truck weighs in at eleven pounds with Proline Bowties and Velocity wheels.

Looks real nice man, But whats with the gummental center skid? That thing is gonna look so clean with a hard anadized pipe.

I wish losi made gummental shock caps and dif cases, Replace the blue with gummental and have a hard anadized and gummental theme.. Dam that would just look sick.

threaded shocks have been in at DMS for two weeks now, get with the programme UK guys, we may get parts later but at least check before posting we dont got 'em

They are £15 a piece and you have to fork out another £4 on the adjustment rings for them, hence they are still in stock otherwise i would have them[:-] Going to order mine stateside after xmas and save some pennies.

I cant wait to see if Losi come out with Hi-Perf CF chassis plates, that would be truly glorious[8D]

All of my Carbon Fiber plates I made on my own, it is easy to do if you have a drill press and some Dremel bits.

Take a look at this link before you purchase the skids, for the five skids and top plate it is 123.49 and another for the 59.99 for the Hard Ano pipe set. sounds a little cheaper than what you had posted.

Horizon Hobby is listing both the "[link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=losb226&OverallCatID=]Heavy Duty[/link]" parts shown above and "[link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=losb227&OverallCatID=]Hi Proformance[/link]" due out in January. Does any one know what the difference will be? Thickness maybe?

I just noticed that some of the parts Hi Perf parts are graphite but the skids are still hard anodized.

That makes sense if you think about it.Graphite doesn't hold up well to abrasion as well as solid metal does.

The HD parts are exactly that. HD, because of the hard ano, and the extra protection. The lower plates all have more protection for areas on the truck. My favorite being the lower front that now covers the servo savers. The hi performance parts are geared towards light weight racing. The HP aluminum will be milled, and lightened. The CF is obviously lighter as well.
