i think it would make a great crawler with the diffs locked but full time lock it real isnt a good characteristic for the lst!!! I am a main supporter of to each his own and if u do lock them i want to see some mud slingin video!!!! I think something that would be really cool is a locker that u can lock and unlock the diff...i know it maybe a stretch but that would be a basher/racer dream!!!!

Well, the diffs are easy enough to swap out, and I bought two of them brand new for $20 each...why not lock a set and have another set with gear oil in them that is LSD?

I'm still waiting on the dif cases, gears and outdrives to arrive.I want to make up a full set so I can drop them in easily if I want to without tearing apart the diff's each time I want to use them for hillclimb or whathaveyou. They look like this....

Good plan )

I was going to do that with the spare set of Diffs that I have...put some HEAVY oil in them and use them for mud and hills etc. Now it looks liek I should have bought these instead...and an extra set of Alu diff cases.

I wonder if they will be lighter than the standard Diff?
