4WD (AWD) question?
I just noticed something with my truck and was hoping someone to give me some advice.
If I hold the truck off the ground and suspended in mid air, whist the engine is ticking over then apply the throttle, the rear wheel which seem to have the most power spin as you would expect. However, the near-side front wheel also spins but the off-side does not. No matter what I do is stays static.
Is the diff shot? Why would only three wheels spin?
Cheers all.

RE: 4WD (AWD) question?
I suppose i should also mention that whilst the three wheels are spinning I guess I could stop the front wheel with my hand if I tried as it seems like the bevel gear is not fully engaged. I would not attempt to stop the rear wheels as there is definitely a positive drive apparent.
If I spin the front wheel with or without the engine running only one wheel turns unlike the rear. Both turn in this case.
Confused slightly.

Does the moving front wheel revolve at the same speed as the rears or twice as fast. If it's at the same speed then it sounds as it somethings up with the diff. If twice as fast see my earlier post.
Does the axle revolve - poss the pin for the hex could have gone.

The front wheel (Near side) seems to rotate at the same speed but it's as though there is no drive behind the wheel if you know what I mean. No the axle doesn't revolve. I'm just going to go and have a closer look...

You were right. Simple really, just didn't look close enough. The pin on the front drive shaft is missing!!
Thanks for the pointers. Need to get one of them ordered pronto.
Excellent. Thanks again.

If you can't find anywhere else, you could probalby contact them and ask them to set up shipping for it to the UK for a little extra 'mula' by some shipping company like UPS[sm=stupid.gif]
