What charger are you using to charge your packs?
What charger(s) are you guys using for your battery packs?
Batteries I need to charge:
--> 6V 2400mAh dual RX packs from onlybatterypacks.com.
--> 7.2V 1500mAh NiCD battery for the rotostart
--> 9.6V 500mAh Futaba NiCD for the transmitter with a 9V connector
Current Chargers:
--> Standard charger for the RX packs (27 hour charge time though)
--> Dynamite Mega 1 Charger.
The Dynamite burned up my old NiMH RX pack, they said it would work but whatch the heat. It got hot quick. Anyway I am not a fan of this charger, it's good for the roto-start battery but that's all. I use the alligator clips to charge the Futaba battery with the 9V connectors. Not the best set-up, but it works. Now I need something for the dual RX packs, and would like to get one for all batteries in use.
I am looking at the Hobbico MKII for $50. Good price, and it's 2 different chargers in one but you need to get the connectors which run $26 each. I can buy the banana clips and make my own tamiya type connector for the roto-start battery no problem. The JR leads come with one for the TX and RX batteries.
My question is will the TX adapter plug into the transmitter to charge the futaba battery?
Outside of this set-up, just curious what everyone else uses to get some ideas. I like to get just one charger for the 3 types of batteries and want to get something that won't break me.............need the money for LST hop-ups instead

I am using a Duratrax IntelliPeak Deluxe Pluse Charger DTXP4120. I bought if of Ebay for half price and it was brand new. I have never had a problem with it and it's petty small and compact. I only have had one false peak and that was my own fault not the chargers. It workes great for me.

I am using my losi charger that I use for my 1:18 th scale car. It is a peak charger that will charge 6-7.2 volts and it was 17 bucks. Works great for receiver packs.

Duratrax Intellipeak charger. Small, easy to use, LCD screen, AC and DC current, many options and does the job.

Super Brain 969pro. Don't care for it much. Wish it had customizable settings so I didn't have to change all the settings manually for all the different batteries. The LCD display is always acting up and hard to read. It is AC/DC though. It also will charge 2 reciever packs at once. Will charge 2 stick packs at once also but only on DC. The included AC converter is not large enough to supply enough power to charge 2 stick packs on AC. Unless you have electric powered cars also, I would stick with a $40-$50 dollar charger. They all are pretty comparable in this price range. Just depends on what kind of bells and whistles your looking for. If you have electric your looking at $100+ depending on options (cycling, custom settings, adequate discharger, etc.)

I'm using the Duratrax IntelliPeak Digital Pulse Charger (DTXP4130). It is extremely easy to use and very versatile. Does just about anything you need to do to keep your batteries in tip-top condition.

I use the MRC 959 too, like RamSavage LST. I think it's the best one for the money. I use it for my RX packs, TX packs, airplane packs, and even my dry cell 12 V. It runs off AC and 12V DC. It only cost me like $40.

I use an E-Flite Pinaccle. Charges 1-14 cells, adjustable current .5A - 5.0A (about 5.5 with a good power supply), has a discharge and cycle feature as well. There's an AC/DC version of it too... pretty versatile for about 80 bucks.... I can charge anything from glow driver to my Tx packs.

I like my Hi-Tec 535 best for the field as it has a convenient glow charger built into the face.Just plug your heater into the glow plug like fixture and it'll peak charge it.Will also charge up to 24 cells when needed but unfortunately will not charge LIPO's. For that and NIMH's I use the Triton Charger

Most folks (that I know anyway) make up their own adapters.

I am using a Triton from www.electrifly.com This is my first peak charger, and I have to say it is very nice. I does all types of batteries, and is completely programable.

I use the "Watt-AGE DC only peak charger".
Its 15.00 on net and 30.00 at LHS
It has a fixed output of 1.8 amps and charges the tran., receiver, and starter.
It has no adjustments and is foolproof.
I bought it for my 9 year old son to use on his LST and I later got one for myself too.
Try it and you'll agree, its the best charger for the LST.
