Default help!!! input for locking diffs.

i was wondern if anyone has locked there diffs for bashin around. i think im gunna do this because i hate drivin around and get stuck and only the two wheels with little or no traction are goin but the wheels i need to be digin into the ground dont move.[:@]

if you havent locked them are you running a thicker oil like 120k or 100k.

i think i might use this, http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFTY0&P=7 because its realy thick and i can take it out and put thiner in for racing.

I don't think I'd lock the diffs unless you're rock crawling or something. Just try going to heavier oil. What weights are you running now?

its gunna be about 3 to 4 weeks before i even get an lst but when i run my other trucks it does that.

that assoicated 300k weight should do what i want it to.

im sorata rock crawlin with it but in hilly dirt areas where i loose traction on 2 wheels. like 2 are in the air and spinning and the other 2 that should be doin something dont and then i have to go get it.

Can't really say how the stock diffs would run, they just have grease in them. I changed to oil before I even ran the truck, 30k front 60k rear. They'd probably slip pretty easily.

If you really want them locked you might try this stuff: http://badhorsie.com/products/diff-lock-grease.html
