Just remember no matter how strong you make your truck, you have to decide where the giving is going to take place, it can give on a exspensive part or it can give on a cheap, and easy to replace part once you get past the growing pains this truck is a BLAST!!!

If you really want strength, get the HCR titanium chassis. You might wnat teh RPM gear cover also, it looks cool. Get a sprotwerks 9mm carb, and a supercharger [>:] get 8man's pinions ([link=http://www.lstcentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=997]read this[/link]) and threaded shock bodys. And maybe even a CP2 body, and BRT1's.
BTW, I was kidding about the supercharger IMO they don't do any good.

flextek suspension arms (only the bottom ones... dont order the whole set. Its too heavy). I'm running bottom flex tek's on the bottom, stock on the top.
aluminum diff case(s)
threaded shock body
stiffer springs (I like 7.4lbs... your mileage may vary however)
CF chassis / upper shock supports
aluminum steering knuckles are nice as well.
also if you go viscous in your diff's you can help keep steering crisp by upgrading your steering servo's.
One things about the LST.... once you start upgrading moding.. Its hard to stop. killerhobbies.com will become your best friend.

Personally, I'd buy a second LST. Honestly.
If you check the auctions, you can find some killer deals on used pre-hopped up LST's as either full runner's or even a project roller. You'd get alot more for your money that way. Used R/C's usually only go for about half of the total investment, so you could get a whole truck (valued at $600) hopped-up with up to an additional ~ $600 worth of stuff for around $600.

And I'm sure you can find many more.

But Dapicco, if you're okay with a used one, it's a pretty good idea or at least it seems so to me. Good idea jefx!

Good call JefX, I did just that...bought a roller with a mach that was done up very nicely (TSB,CF,23mm,Hard Ano everything, Hitek 645's etc etc for $475. All i tneeded was radio, so I bought an RS310 and now have two trucks. Only one lot of spares to keep up with, but the worst part is when something great comes out for the LST, I have to buy two of em
