Default twin receaver packs

hi i keep hearing about useing twin battery pack but were do you fit the second battery if you got the large tank

If you get the high capacity fuel tank, you can't mount the 2nd battery where it should be. Some people ziptie or velcro the battery to the receiver box, but that may upset the F to R weight balance. I recommend getting a 1400mah battery and not worrying about it. A 1400mah battery will last several tanks, so plan a time for charging after 4-6 Tanks (Just to be safe).

I bought the last 2 flat pack 1400 sticks my LHS had. They told me those aren't being made anymore... something about a problem with the cells. Can you still get them, and if so where?

NM, I found lots of them... need to speak to my LHS!!!

Well do what I do. Get 5 AA 2500 MAH rechargable batteries, and make your own receiver pack. I'll let you know where to mount it once I've figured it out

I Run 5 GP 2500 AAs Under the Tank, It's A Lot Faster Putting in some Fuel than it is to Charge Batts....
I Plastic Dipped it To keep it Water Proof...

what kind of servos do u have SublimeJason i saw that they were blue are they stock or did u just paint them?

I Plastic Dipped them, I Use JR 590s on the Gas/Rev and JR 650s on the Steering...

I Just put the 650s on the steering, And Used the Stock steering servos(590s) for the Gas/Rev, They have More Power than the 270s but its not Needed...

Good idea, although that looks like a 4 cell, which isn't enough juice for me. I need to have 6 volts, or more. I will post my results on putting it under the tank. A 5 cell I mean
