Default Tuning problem

I put in this glow plug today.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGWY5&P=7

Medium heat range long plug. Anyway. I was fiddling with the tuning and while I know you shouldn't tune to a certain temperature, I like to make sure it isn't getting too hot especially since I'm running it wide open around my yard. Anything under like 250 degrees and it would stall most of the time. I finally got it driving okay around 230 degrees but it still stalls sometimes especially if I go wide open for like 5 seconds and hit the brakes. I've fiddled with the settings and it was running great with the other glow plugs, could it just be this type of glow plug? I also noticed that it is idling awefully high with a high pitched whine. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Rob
