Default lst diff

can i rebuild a diff on the lst or do i have to buy the whole thing new? and ever since i have had my lst (about 6 months) i have had nothing but trouble but they are all little things like the diff going out, cvd's, bent drive shaft it just seems like these things are a lot of up keep and im thing about selling it i only have about maybe 1 time a week to bash and thats not enough time for all the up keep i have to do on it. so if any offers on buying im willing to take them it's only had 2 gallons through it.

YEs diffs can be rebuilt, just look in your manual for the parts that need replacing, yes "up keep" can be a chore at times (even though i ejoy the wrench time), but try having 3 LST's like me (they get ran 4-5 times a week), i can now clean, check and fix most parts that need repair on all the trucks in about 2-3 hours on a saturday. Just takes a little practice. And if you arent enjoying it, i would say that nitro trucks are not for you.

A bunch of crap happened to me. And i am not very happy about it, i was really looking forward to going, but i had some tuning issues that were not ironed out till later that evening. How was the turn out and how did you place? Were you running the LST?

And yes, i would second the nova diff cups.

There were a bunch of stadium and buggy guys but mostly 2 monsters, my lst and a revo. Somebody else had a tmax that barley ran. The revo broke half way through the main so I won on my silly moabs. He averaged a couple secconds faster than me. He got it going again but not fast enough.
Has anybody tried the hotracing 2 piece ones? They look really strong to me.
I did an interview today with the Kalamazoo Gazette today because the city wants to stop us from nitro racing now. I blame the buggys if we get shut down.

I know who you are now, lol! You were the only guy i have ever seen race moabs on that track, lol.

Anyway, i was there to watch the race in may, but my truck wasnt done yet, i saw you there and talked with you for a minute or two.

And what!!!!! Is that neighborhood complaining about the noise at the track after 17 years? And did the gazette hint at thats what they are fighting for? Please give me more details and when the article is sgoing to be printed. Oh and buggies run the same big blocks that us LST guys use, so there shouldnt be any difference in noise from a buggy to a monster, so i dont get that comment.

I said that about the buggys becase I run a stock pipe and half of those guys have a noisy something else. Maybe they were complaing about the rocks my knobys toss over the fence???? hahaha
No idea about when they are going to print the article, Probably today. I ordered some pythons the day before I found out about this.
Rex from hobbysports called me and asked me to call the paper, he made it sound like this might help keep it open.
If there is a next time just run whatever of the 3 trucks is not broke.

Okay, not so bad (still really bad for R&L) cause i just went and checked out the VOOR (vicksburg outdoor offroad raceway). Its twice the size of R&L's track, ROAR certified and AWESOME! Next race is June 24th 5pm in the evening and is a cash payout race WOOT WOOT. Hope you make it there MIBasher

Sounds like fun but I will be at my sister's wedding on the 24th. I just checked on the distance to get there and its 90 miles from my house instead of 80 to get to hobbysports. Maybe next time.
