17mm hexes on LST
Hello I am the prod owner of a used LST 1. I just bought it off of Rcuniverse. I was wondering if there are 17mm wheel hexes for the LST 1. I already have 17 mm tires and I would like to use them. Will 17mm be able to handle the power of this beast!

How would they be held on the axle without a wheel nut to hold the hex and the pin not captured on the back?? I've often wondered, there's some nice 17mm wheels popping up.

Aw!! that makes sense!!!
I have thought about getting some 17mm hexes for the 8mm LST2 axles, I want to try some of my friends truggy tires, just for fun.

RE: 17mm hexes on LST
I doubt it.
I would recommend getting 23mm hexes.
Yes I know you already have the wheels with 17 mm hexes, but 23mm hexes are just better. You have more choices, and they are stronger.
And if you wait, check these new proline 23mm hexes out: http://www.*************.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=10431. switch **** for "*************"
They use the captured pin that the LST uses, so no more spacers, and no more worries. And at tower, they are 16.99 for a pair. But they are still on backorder.

you can try these, i use them on the genesis and nemesis and savage. on the savage i needed to shave (or file) the back side that meets the bearing to put the pin in but it works.

I think I'm going to have to try a set, the LHS dude says there closer to 40's than maxx or MT sized.
