Default snow running

hey guys, i was just out running my muggy in the snow, and there is about 1/2 inches of and it is still falling but i was wondering is there anything else i should do besides get the electronics waterproofed? everything is stock except for the 12t clutch bell.........and man running in that 1/2inch was a blast just power sliding everywhere!!!!

Well, it's damaging to run the engine below 190 so you should block the air intake on the body and/or wrap the cooling head in something, take off you sock and put it over it or wrap it in aluminum foil until the temps are steady at around 210-235 be careful not to over-do it. If the engine is too cold the piston and sleeve can't expand properly and it wears it out.

so i can stick one of my socks from my foot on the head and that should help with the temps? ill try that today...wen i get home 2day....also my servos were water proofed and wen i got inside in steering servos were making loud ticking noises [sm=72_72.gif] , but they still work thankfully

ow that im home, my servos are fine they dont make any ticking noises like they did yesterday

heyy i have a muggy too and i ran in an inch of snow the other day and man did i have fun.EXCEPT the fact i had a runaway.But i caught it though.now i have about 7 inches of snow now and i have a huge ramp ready for me.(3 feet high)Im getting the Fioroni Clutch.I love my muggy!

yeah i think im going to get a Fioroni Clutch for mine when i get the money but i geared it down to a 12t clutch bell and got 2 tanks on a clutch so hopefully that did the trick gearing it down a tooth...and running in the snow is a blast! i have about 3inches and 1inche of ice on top!! [sm=lol.gif]

sry i didnt even think of getting some pics [:@] o well the ice/snow will be here a while i get a vid and some pics maybe this weekend...maybe......i was running on thursday with a T-maxx on the ice/snow and i only had front wheel drive ( rear diff is shot i think) and i was still walking all over it!!! i was climbing hills with ease in front wheel drive only and he couldnt make it some time with 4wd !!!!!!!! MAN I LOVE MY MUGGY!!! [sm=lol.gif]
