Pro's: Lighter, actually stronger than steel in every aspect except the moment of inertia (that means it doesn't bend, it breaks), may be some benefit to handling due to the stiffer chassis, look's cool.
Con's: Tend's to de-laminate around the edge's, No heat sink capability like the stock alluminum, cost's more, will not bend, only break, albeit at a much higher point, alot of kit's out there are of inferior quality.
