well actually its 300-345 in first, 980-1015 in second and the rocket boosters get it up to 3000[8D]

better motor, lighter tires/rims, as much carbon fiber as possible, Ti gears, FOC, single steering servo, different body, pipe/header, and anything else u can think of......it would cost prob a grand in just hop ups to get it to run 55, and wit all that u cant bash it cause it is to weak.... and u could shave every little extra piece of plastic off the truck...... with the time/work/cost it would just be easier to buy a jato 3.3, that will kill a lst2 no matter what

no way... definitely more than 55

in the other post i already said probably high 80's

yes this does sound very extreme but it for sure IS possible. if someone wants to give me some cash, id be willing to prove everyone that disagrees wrong

I can't see any way how that is possible, maybe with an extremely hot brushless system but I can't imagine nitro engine ever having a big enough power and rev range to push an LST to 80mph.

80 miles my ass[sm=bananahead.gif] Anyone who thinks that is possible with a LST know nothing about aerodynamics. Just by going from 40 to 80 miles quadrubles the air resistance, robbing away the engines power.
80 miles is b.lls.it

the only way you would get a nitro lst up to 80-90 is to tie it to the bumper of your car and drag it ... however when me and my friends go 4 wheeling 1:1 scale i always take the lst2 with me cause you never know when you will get stuck and need to be pulled out..... lmfao it is funny to see a 13 pound rc pull a 3500 pound jeep out of a hole but you have to put the transmission selector in low gear to do it ... high gear just spins not enough low end torque rlmfaon

Personally I think its feasable to HIGHLY mod a LST2 to hit 80, maybe with twin Nova 528xr Hot Modded, 40% nitro with a ludicrous pinions & spurs, skinny tires and wheels, lowered way down, custom aerodynamic body and streamline the whole truck filling in or covering all unsmooth surfaces, lightening the heck out of it, etc.

i think it could hit 80 but it would take some cash and a lot of time but it would be very very difficult to handle at that speed oh wait i got it ...something like the evil kenevil rocket bike that he tried to jump the grand canyon with yeah yeah some sort of rocket booster or maybe a turbine of some sort but i'm sure with enough money you could do it ... with out some other means of propulsion it would need at least a four speed tranny maybe five ...and you could run it really lean cause at that speed it would not overheat ...run it really rich on the low end then really lean on the top end but handling would be really touchy at that speed...hey dont someone make rc aircraft engines that will get planes that fast however at that speed the bearing at the wheels would melt and seize up ....hey maybe you could switch the spur and pinion gears that would do it and then some but it would take 2 novas stage three to push it and 2 four barrel carbs.... i would pay to see it...wow
