Pipe fitting

the part were the pipe is connecting to the tube that connects to the engine is not on all the way
like its on sorta but there is not sitting flat to the tube and its off a llitle so i believe im loosing compression in that area if it matters
does it matter and how would i fix that? currently i have the 3 springs on it and its in a sort of triangle fasion
its hard to exlpain with out pics so i hope some of you get it

the three springs are correct but you need to take them off and see if the exhaust gasket is whole or torn ... if its danaged go to your lhs and get another one and replace it
