What does the olympics have to do with nitro fuel? lol

But I'm running 20% O'Donnell in my 8ight-T and Muggy. I've run that stuff in most of my other nitros as well and I like it. Keeps the temps down, and doesn't smell too badly.

ooo he said plants slowed down to help out the air quality. idk if this is bs or not, maybe its an excuse for not placing an order? idk. how much do u pay for o donnell. it was like 35 in my store. but i pay 28 bucks now for wildcat 20%. so far no complaints on that i like it so far. ive run so much of it thru my boats, trucks and airplanes so ive come to like it.

I'm running Traxxas 20% in my Raminator with Traxxas glow-plug. The local shop here is almost all flipping Traxxas now LOL. I'm paying $37/gallon. Kind of expensive, but everyone claims there is a shortage of nitro being made? My truck runs like a gaped ape, so I'm going to continue running this way.

Tried a few different brands and settled on Trinity Monster Horsepower %20 for my LST2 and T-Maxx. I get it for $28.00 a gallon at Hobbytown.

I agree. IMO, fuel is fuel. No company is going to make a fuel that sucks and blows your engine up.

Some of you guys are spending alot for fuel! I am getting 25% Backyard Basher made by Morgan fuel for 25$ a Gallon. I dont know wether or not it is any good, because I have never run anything else, but all the guys in town are running it. When we first got into the hobby, we had to drive an hour and a half to get one gallon that cost us 40$[:@]. The guy that we get it from now is only charging 25, but I dont think he is making a profit, because he really isnt in it for the money.

I like the O'Donnells 20%, but the fumes are much nastier than other fuels I have dealt with.

Actually the nitro and alcohol content is pretty much the same. I believe that there are only 4-5 Nitromethane manufacturers in the world but a BUTT load of distributers. The major difference in the fuels is not the ntro or alcohol but the lubricants. Castor oil being #1 then the synthetic or natural proprietary lubricants the fuel manufacturers (fuel mixers) use.

The only fuel I didn't like was traxxas. It gummed up my motor and OWB. I also settled on Trinity 20% Easy to tune.

I had the same problem with the Traxxas Fuel. I do not know what type of oil they use but my OWB constantlt slipped until the engine was hot (in the T-Maxx). After switching to the Trinity problem solved.
