I have an aftershock and I keep destroying the 2-speed bearing. I clean it and lube it every 5 tanks but they keep going up. I also keep melting the 2-speed gears. If I were to get a full lst2 gear set would it fix these problems?

I didn't have a problem when I first purchased the truck, but when I started comparing parts I upgraded to the LST2 2 speed..
One other thing, I just remembered about a week after I purchased my shock my LHS owner handed me two bearings just in case...that just dawned on me, I keep moving them around in my box. He may have had some inside info, cause I purchased the first one he was able to get in the shop.

I think you are having more of a issue with your gear mesh. Maybe your clutch slipping to much as well causing hte bell to get to hot and the results show.
