No thats way too high. temps should be about 250. No more than 280max. You need to retune the motor to your area. You need to slightly retune every time the temps change. Sounds lean when temps up that high. It could hav an airleak but these engines dont run that hot and are not known for leaks.

yeah im not too bad at tuning nitros ... i wanted to know the normal operating temp of these engines

today i try it again i put the high speed needle more rich, if i put more rich it have mediocre performence
then i try adjusting the low speed needle, i turn it as rich as i can without loosing too much performence put my problem is :
when i WOT and release it, it try to rev high without making a nice sound, like if it was too lean

i dont know what to do ... help me please!

today the outside temps is about -8 Celcius and running without the body i reach 205F

yeah but why is it revving high when i let off the trottle after wide open trottle ?
while its revving high if i press the trottle about 75% its goes back to normal

edit: and now i dont hear it shift into 2nd gear, wich needle is too rich?

If its not shifting into second and temps are too cool then your high speed is rich. If you let off throttle and idle is high then low speed is lean. Sounds like you have both needles out of wack.

The Aftershocks 2 Speed Hub for the Spur Gears is Plastic and has an Alum Ring that the Second Gear shoes sit in......I think that after it gets Hot it Warps and doesnt Keep it's proper Shape.....(Causing it Not to shift Properly & get stuck in one gear)

Aftershock Vs. LST2

Up grade to the LST2 2 Speed and you Shouldn't have anymore Shifting problems (You'll need the LST2 Hubs & Spurs)
