Losi XXL Body Mount Posts
Any one else out there having trouble keeping their body mount posts from breaking? I was having a heck of a time but I think it was from my slipper being too tight. My truck was flipping over backward quite a bit but now have my slipper turned out 1 full turn out from all the way in. Seems I would buy new posts and put'em in and within one tank full they'd both be broke.

Quick question...
Can anyone with experience tell me if LST2 bodies fit on the XXL? Do they line up the same, are the lst2 bodies too small or the same?
Thx guys
Steph

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the chassis on the XXL longer than the LST2 so I would assume the body shouldn't fit strait off the shelf.
Hey bigblock454XXL,
I was just wondering if that's a shed your RC shop is in?

Yep, it's a shed. And it's getting a 8X6 addition, 5x6 of that will be inclosed. My collection of R/C stuff is multipling so I'm expanding a bit. Keeps me away from the kids and wife when I need a minute to collect my thoughts. Thanks for the interest.

Oh yea, your not wrong, the XXL is 30mm longer then the LST2 chassis, which is the same as the LST and the Aftershock. There is no other body made that will properly fit the XXL other then the stock body. The rumor is there are no plans in the making of one either by any of the major body brands.

Any 1/8 scale body will "fit", its just the wheelbase(wheelwells) may not line up, but then, there are LOTS of trucks that the wheelbase doesn't line up even with the stock body anyhow, and I don't think its that big a deal. Just don't get a pre-finshed body, unless you are sure it comes without the body post holes drilled... In every clear body I have gotten, I have had to drill the body post holes myself, so you just drill them where you need them... Many of the 1/8th scale pro-line bodies are plenty long for the xxl...
I haven't had a problem with flipping, but I had my slipper at one turn out from the get-go....
