RE: Charger for losi aftershock reciever pack?
I use a Great planes Triton for mine, but already had it from airplane stuff... But if you can afford something universal like that, you"ll never regret it. I use mine for everything LiPo to lead acid, from reciever packs to my cordless drill.
Something like this would be great to have around... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXTCK1&P=7

Looks like either one will work for you, but the first one is not going to fit in your stock rx pack mount under the chassis in the hump configuration, and is likely a slow charger. I like to use a peak charger, so I know its full charged.

I use a Dynamite 6V pack.. a pretty big one. If you get a good sized pack it won't be a problem for you. Then get a decent charger, and you can peak the pack in a resonable amount of time, while you are tweaking your truck, and letting the mill cool, and munching on Doritos..

Ok tried something with the hobbico and it seems to be charging but i am keeping a close eye on it to see if it actually charges this battery. If so i just need to buy the adapter for it then.

I just came accross this on the Dynamite rc web site
http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN4007
It will do what you need, and its cheap.
Or look at Tower hobbies for a small adjustable rate Park flyer charger. That hobbico 900 worries me..[sm=what_smile.gif]

Oh one more question if your batteries in the remote go under a certain voltage will the truck run wild without any control? Mine did just a few minutes ago and the remote said 7.4v is all i had in the remote? So i am assuming i need to put new batteries in then?

I would say somewhere in the middle. not a slow charger, but probably not as fast as it could be, but at 1.5A charge rate.. it should work pretty good.
As far as your radio runaway, I would say you'll be suprised how fast you can go through a set of Batteries.. How far away were you from the truck when it happened? I would look at the receiver batteries being low first..

That i don't know. It looks like there is a spring on the truck going to the motor but today it flew right wide open when it took off thank god it hit the snow and spun out.

7.4v in the transmitter is pretty low
with regular AA it should be around 12.8v
i use rechargeable AAs in my transmitter and recharge them by the plug on the side of the transmitter
its quick, easy , simple and i quick charge them everytime i go out to be sure ill be good for the day

The aa's are dollar store brand so yeah they die fast. The receiver battery is dead again. No way to charge as i am afraid my hobbico will over do the battery and harm it.
