Default Center Drive shaft help

I purchased a used LST2 and have been running it a few times. Today I was going through the vehicle and noticed that the Center shafts only sit on the very edge of the cups exiting the transmission. I tried to loosen the CVD's on the diffs and slide them out some but there is just not enough metal to bite good so this is as long as they will go. Is this normal? If not could these be the wrong shafts? I was thinking they should sit a bit more in the middle. Thanks guys....
