Hey guys I am a noob to the RC world and bought a XXL a month or two back and am now started to play with it since the weather is getting warm. I have a problem right with the tuning. I get the truck to idle fine. The problem comes when I get on the trottlethe idle sky rockets and wont come back down to the normal idle whereit should be at. Theidle isso high that the truck actually goes about 3 MPH whenI am not eventouchingthe throttle, I then have to run over to it and kill it. It happens every time and I dont know if it is my idle, high speed or low speed adjustments. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Um. . . Have you adjusted your idle at all? It's been a year since I did the break-in on mine. Now I just adjust the high speed needle to the weather. I'd say put them all to stock settings and go from there. I think if you look in your carb it should be open just barely.

I checked the idle and I was a whole click from flush. The problem is still there. Is there anything else that could cause this reving problem?

You are running the HSN too lean. When you do a WOT run, and then let off the throttle, the engine won't idle down right away as the mixture is still lean. With a correclty adjusted LSN, the idle will eventually die down to normal as the mixture richens up after a while.
Open the HSN up about 1/4 turn (rotate CCW)and see what happens.
Here's a video of a mild case of your trouble. The "High Speed Too Lean" banner starts around 0.55 seconds into the video. Start paying close attention around the 1:00 minute mark. Notice he drops the throttle around 1:07, the idle stays high, then it drops to a normal idle at 1:10
