On a recent inlaw visit out in the prairies, I decided to take a drive around to some of the tiny towns in the area to seek out airplane guys. In less than a day, I found 3 different fellas who were working on high quality home builts,

Pete'n'pole, RV6 and a Tiger Moth

Pictured below is a fella, 90 yrs young who designed and built this ultralight tigermoth, modifying old Fly Baby plans. (He previously built one of them too!)

It weighs in around 350lbs and he's still flying it around. Not going to tell you the name or location as I don't have his permission and he may not want it out there.
