I actually had to register this morning to read the boards. That's a first... Wonder if it has to do with the SW Zone director using all those alias'?
Maybe the ADMINISTRATOR would enlighten us as to the reason why.

I *suspect* t hat there is language in the user agreement that limits the ability of a registered user to sue the forum owners for comments 'published' on the site.
Perhaps they were recently served with a threat of future legal action and decided to limit viewers to only those who have agrreed with the terms of use, eliminating the 'threat'.
