@connery. beautiful model.
i am coming to america this may, and i have to make complete list of equipment for this model.
things that i am interested is what kind of wheel did you use.
can you or somebody else help me to choose:

(it will be CJ retracts)
1. what kind of wheels,
2. what kind of servos,
3. motor (i would like to be gas engine but dont know 20, 23 or 26 cm3)
4. does the kit have hinges, linkages, horns... in it and if not what are best to use?
5. can i see somewhere how did you manage linkages on rudder (there is picture but if somewhere is with more details)

Misha I went with the CJ retracts they look good.
1. I went with the Robart wheels
2.I used futaba 3004 standard servos
3. there are some good gas engines out there I went with a OS120 4stroke, but for gas these look interesting http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/RCSSV17-H.html
4. the kit comes with hardware, horns, push rods and clevices, and CA hinges if you want pin hinges you might want to purchase some Robart pin hinges, you will need to buy large pin hinges for the flaps if you chose to build them on your model.
5. the linkages on the rudder is a basic pushrod set up unless you go with a retractable tail wheel then your going to set up a pull/pull for the TW and a pushrod or P/P for the rudder.
here are some photos of my set up for my retractable tail wheel and P/P for stearing, I used a HD servo for that

thank you bigtim.
i was thinking to put in 4" wheel and thing what is concerning me is with of it.
if you can send dimensions to me it would be good.
as a matter of ruder i liked what connery did with it. it is more scale liked.
not that i want all scale look, bu t i want as many things that can be hidden to be hidden
also, can you possible send me pictures of retracts (in and out)
which size of hinges do you recommend for flaps and which for ailerons, rudder and elevator?

thank you in advance
misha
