Hi Guys,
Here are some photos of a Mig 29 in progress. The model belongs to Peter Weiss in Israel. You may recognise the F4 in the background as one which is featured on one of the Florida Jets videos and BVM's website.Enjoy!.....

I had the chance to meet Peter in FJ-04.
All I can say is this guy is 1000000000000000% perfectionist [&:][sm=bananahead.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]
and this remarkable job with theMig does not surprise me at all coming from him.
Please send my regards to Peter.-
Thanks,
MS.

Serious business indeed..
Alot of work, but done this way, it`s a piece of art.
Keep up the good work, and post moore pix when you have some.
I surely want to see them.

Hello,
I recently acquired a FC Mig 29 #15 " Thanks for the Great Deal Tam
" I have been searching the forums for the past two days and I have seen mention of a large Builders forum but I cant seem to Locate it; could someone please forward me the link or links that have the most build information.
Does anyone know if any external stores/weapons/pylons have been created? I ran across one post but I have not been able to see any pictures.
By the way I was very fortunate to acquire one of Arden's incredible Mig cockpit kits; from what I understand only three were created. Today I also purchased the cockpit moulds; this is by far the best example of a scale cockpit kit that I have seen. I am currently creating these kits and will offer a fully painted version soon. After speaking with Arden from what I understand he sold the kits for 1000.00 USD because it takes over a week just to manufacture the parts alone. I think I will be able to reduce that price but before I can commit to a specific price I need to finish a few kits so I have a better understanding of the amount of work that is involved.
Here are a few pictures of this cockpit but please note that not all of the parts are shown because I am still finishing up the first kit; I will send an update in a week or so:
Thanks for your time.
David.

Hello David,
I have 2 FC Mig 29 kits on the way. Building one for me and the other for Ron Long. I have spoken to Tam about this cockpit kit. Please let me know how much you will be charging for the kits, and cost for turn key painted kits.
Thanks

Hello Kevin,
I updated my original post with a bit more information; I will let you know in a week or so for the price of the standard kit. As for the fully painted version it will be a couple of weeks before I have a price ready.
By the way do you happen to know of the Mig 29 builder thread? I have been trying to locate it but no luck in the past two days.
Thanks for your time.
David.

No I have searched and found other small threads, but nothing showing the complete build. I would like top view it also.
I'll keep a look out and let you know. Maybe I will start one with the 2 I have coming.
Thanks
Kevin

That would be great and I will do the same.
Both Monty and myself are trying to have the Migs ready by next October for the Last Jet meet held at Woodland Davis before the field is moved; Imagine seeing two of these birds flying at the same time

Hey Matt,
Hows things going? From what I can tell I have the original gear with the Omega upgrades; I am still trying to get my head wrapped around the project; hopefully I am not missing anything major. I did have Monty check out the bird and it seems that my kit may be a bit further along than his; we hope to have the jets ready by next october. I have been trying to find a good build thread that people have mentioned but no luck as of yet, have you run across anything?
In regards to the YF-23 I did get the 65 inch version flying; 8 flights now. I am trying to put together the funds to pick up two P-70s (or something similar) for the YF23; I need the lightest power plants I can find ( do to the CG needing to be so far forward) but I also will require at least 17-20 Lbs of thrust. Hopefully I also can get this project in the air some time next year.
Hows you're project comming along?

Hi David,
any news on the MIG-29 cockpit kit? Did you already fix the price and will you be offering an unpainted version? I have to say that cockpit looks awesome. I will soon (I hope
) start working on my MIG-29, how is your MIG going along?
I hope to hear from you.
Thanks
