Hi guy's here is the video i have a better version i could not post it here i had to shrink the file so much it got degradedhttp://www.rcpics.net/img/81031
...But first
gripes with the tanks are:
Biggist problem you CANT use rechargable batteries!! To do so you will have to grind all the plastic tabes for each AA 2 tabs for each so with radio and tank that would be 28 tabs to be ground off what a pain in the BUTT...what where VS thinking we would not want to use rechargable batteries???
Next for some ODD reason the tracks don't ride good on the tanks they lift off on the sprockets almost as if they don't fit correctly making auwfull clicking popping sounds!
The radio works better than the old one BUT the buttons you have to push so far down it kind of stinks I like the old buttons better the way they worked and there are so many buttons it's kind of a pain but you will most likly get used to it..another thing i don't like is the controller don't feel good it don't fit in my hands well and i can't really reach all the buttons that well.. and again rechargables don't fit in the controller you will need to grind the tabs off inside.
the GOOD the tanks look really nice and the recoil and machine gun fire is cool and the way it works now it can be controlled much better and turn in many more radious turns even though i find i like using the low 1 and 2 buttions and just blip on and them to make the tank turn any size turn i want it to...And once you learn all the buttons on the radio it should be good but may take a while !:-) LOL
But i am disapointed paying $250.00 for these tanks i feel they could have did a better job.
Also the tank sounds anoying it's a constint high pitch clapping popping sound ..it needed more bass to make it ballenced out.

Well, my day just went to crap[&o] I read your comments on the Marui forum and the ones posted here -- I am bummed out Shen. After we've been talking about how great the VS and Marui tanks are (which they are -- or were, who knows now), it looks like the VS Tigers are going to be big piles of crapola. I CAN"T BELIEVE YOU CAN"T USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES!!!! These tanks will be a complete waste. I'm not going to drop a bunch of money for 8 AA's every time they run down -- plus my Nimh AAs perform so much better. And the transmitter won't work with the old ones. And the track issues you mentioned. I was seriously planning on this being my next small tank purchase. Oh well, thanks Shen on a VERY helpful heads up for the rest of us. I'm sure you will work the problems out if possible (you ARE the 1/24th master). I'm just sorry for you that the tanks suck -- that's a lot of money man.

Yea sems like the marui tiger 1 is better as of the way the tracks run smooth as glass on the marui on the VS they just don't track straight.
You can use rechargables you just have to cut or grind back a lot of plastic tabs in the compartments...
The VS tanks look very good though they detailed them very nice ..better than the marui tiger 1 .

Judging from your video the sound is much improved over the other vstank models. Sounds like a loud clanky wwII tank.

Hello all, from what I've been reading about vs tanks they seem to be good for the money, well I just recieved my tiger IR & man this thing is messed up! first they forget the antenna so I used a different one, then I noticed the tracks pop off about very 10 seconds from both of the back wheels & sometimes from the front sprocket wheels aswell! so I removed 2 links from each side so it couldn't throw the tracks, then the recoil motor started not working sometimes & working at others, then the left side track motor started sliping so it would run for a second then stop for a second & so on. This was all right out of the box. It's been a week & none of my emails have been replied to yet, I've sent around five. I hope you all have beter luck with yours! There is a design flaw with the tracks though, the reason they pop & click & come off every few seconds is because the track holes for the sprocket whels are too far apart.
Way too far apart, when one tooth is in the hole of the track the next hole is way too far away to reach the next tooth, the pop your hearing is the track finding it's way inot the next hole. Thats why you hear the pops every second or so on the video.

Did not have that problem with both of mine...But i sold them anyhow and got rid of all my 1/24 IR tanks being that stupid VS made the new tiger IR system only have a range of like 13ft or so when the old system shot 30ft and scored a hit...Also that loud nasty sound that the tigers made was so hiddious i could not live with it!!!They are supposibly having a new abrams coming out with real recorded sounds from a abrams with the new controller also maybe this one will be nice....I would want this in the airsoft version.
