first off its big and i mean the biggest truck out there besides a fg. i only ran into a few problems with it, the throttle servo binding with the brakes and all the screws not loctite down especially the motor mounts, that would of made hamburger out of the metal gears if it came loose, and there is no reciever batt holder. besides that it seems to be pretty strong.this thing is bigger than the mgt and a little wider. when i am done fixing this thing i will break it in,if its like the other xtm28 i have it will be a breeze to break in.

i am going to break it in with the 2 speed but after that its going to be the center diff 65 tooth and the 16 clutchbell.the 2 steering servoes work great and i mean great it actually turns the tires on the ground for stock servos

its similar to the xlb than the mammoth st or the st pro. the truck was broken in today and it drives like its on rails, i put in diff oil front and rear and changed the shock oil and did some minor work to the throttle and brake linkages. this thing rips the ony thing that broke was the body posts when it landed up side down. i knew it would happen it always does when you have screws holding them in and not clips ,thats the next thing i am going to fix. the steering servos worked flawlessly ,i even held the front end down to the ground and it still turned the tires unheard of in the monster truck world. it has a place for the bump start , and i can install the center diff in and race at the track. this has more than enough power just in first gear when second hits there is no controlling it, this is trully as the saying goes a bat out of he..saitan land
. this is the sleeper truggy everyone has been waiting for.
xtm i think got it right this time and listened to the people and they sure out did themself with this truck. the motor was a piece of cake to breakin and after the mt did its thing. the only thing i changed were the throttle linkages and brake because they hit each other and a few extra parts i put on check out the pic see if you can tell cen owners

hobby people is where i got mine from. i forgot to add the antana where it goes through the aluminum screw needs to be reamed out so the plastic tube can go all the way through the reciever case . if you dont the aluminum will rip the antana apart. thats why in the pic you see rtv silicone there because i drilled the metal too thin and the nut fell off (broke) and i siliconed it on.

awesome truck! I have the mammoth ST with an xtm 457 and after doing a little work on the diffs this thing is really an awesome truck. I think the MMT would really be a good one to go with since it has that massive fuel tank and xtm .28 from the get go!

Hows your XTM Monster MT holding up? Is it strong, can it take a beating? Do you ever do big jumps with it? I'm thinking of buying one so any info. would help. Thanks.

the XTM motor sounds like it struggles a bit carting all that weight around, needs a LRP 28 spec 3 in it
