Hello, I have a YS FZ110 that sends it to service in the USA but it continues vibrating to maximum rpm and is not normal. Some idea that can be? the crankshaft?
The motor is a year old and until now never I could use it.
Thank you very much.

The engines can run rough and vibrate more if they are too rich on the regulator adjustment.
If you sent it to YS Parts and Service in the USA...then the engine was run before it was sent back to you. My suggestion is that you are having issues with mixture adjustments or possible a fuel issue.
Another possibility is that your prop is out of balance. This could cause excessive vibration also.

The fuel is Coolpower 20/20 and I have been having for a year and means, but also it use in a YS 63S without problems. The spinner and the prop were balanced.
Thank you very much

Troy,
Guillermito told me that the vibration his engine has is so strong that it broke one or two mounting bolts. besides an unbalanced prop, What could cause a vibration that strong? He just got it back from service in that condition, just the same as before.
Thank you for your time.

Possibly a bent crank shaft. Could it have gotten bent in shipping....I had this happen to one engine...
Could it be that the engine mount is not strong enough in the firewall...or could it be a bad bolts....I just don't know there are many options.
All I can say is to send it for service...If it just came back from service as in YS Parts and Service....then the engine was run and operating correctly when it left Nevada.
If the engine is running really rich it will vibrate more....but I doubt it would break mounting bolts.
If the prop is not balanced or perhaps the crankshaft is bent it could vibrate enough to cause this problem. If the crank was bent when it was sent into service, it could have been missed but I would doubt that....The engines are run by the folks at YS Parts and Service in Nevada (USA) so when they ran it they would have seen the prop shaft bent....
I just don't know what to give for advice on how to fix it. I suspect the prop is out of balance. Perhaps the mounting bolts were too tight, perhaps they were not tight enough. Its just too big of range to speculate on a cause.

thank you for your info. most people here agree on the crankshaft issue. I will pass your response to the man.
I sugested him to use a dial indicator to check for a bend. Do you have any tips on this area?
thanks again
Juan Carlos
ps. he is not too thrilled about sending the engine back for service because it took 3 months to get it back last time he sent it for service.
