well that was easy
some details then built to 1/3 scale using the BUSA kit as a base, it is being modified to some degree, it has a custom made scale u/carriage system that works as scale, the wing section has been thined to a more scale like thickness with no top spar now hence the scale working rigging, power comes from a G62 on an iso mount with hydraulic dampers, radio will be futaba 2.4 ghz, all the tail surfaces are renovable and have been modified again to a more scale like appearance, full working rigging employed again, time for more photo,s the cockpit this time first is the engine mount then the scale cowl mount under fus finaly rudder bar, joystick.

I've read some things about your Dawn Patrol. I would love to do something like that here, but it seems all half time shows are 3D or Helis. WW1 is too boring for the people.
But, I am rebuilding a 1/3 scale pup as well, bought it that way, so I will be watching as you progress. If possible, could you show what you did for the undercarriage?
thanks

hi steve
the undercarriage is a custom made item, by a friend and fellow team member, it has the scale hinge point in centre and has the attachment points for the full working flying wires, i hope these photo,s help to explain.

hi
i asked Richard if he would make more and he says he will, if you take a look at rcmf.co.uk(sign up its free) down to the Dawn Patrol section then onto WW1 discusions, Richard, the man that makes the u/carriages, has put a post on, if you send him a message and he will no doubt get back to any interested parties,
not been in workshop today, been flying instead more pup news soon.
