I got a few pics and video of some of the highlights, my son was with me so I didn't get as much as I should have. The Miss America you will see is the one that the ARF is copied from. It is housed at Wiley Post airport in Bethany, OK. It was a 5 minute flight from her hangar to the RC field. Link to her http://www.mustangsmustangs.com/p-51...44-74536.shtml
The corsair in the pictures had about a 10ft. wingspan, 150cc power, and weighed in at 55lbs. She won pilots choice.

Looks like a great event, excellent video too.
We had our memorial day fly-in this weekend. It wasn't limited to warbirds but we had quite a few nice ones show up. I don't know what was cooler... watching a 6-motor electric B-36 fly, the formation flight with a P-51 and turbine powered F-100 or getting to fly my own Extra-330. After two days I'm sunburned and a little tired but it was a blast.
To top it all off this morning, there was a ceremony at a cemetary not far from me and there was a fly over by two F-16's. I was out back mowing the lawn when they came over the neighborhood nice and low. I'm sure some cry-babies will file noise complaints but it made my morning.
Here are a few of the warbird pics from Friday. There was alot more going on on Saturday but I forgot to take the camera.
