Default plane for .40 sized engine

i have a old osgp .40 bushing engine that needs a home. any ideas? im open to anyplane design/style, even spads
i was looking at the tower profile 51 or tower uproar ormaybe an escapad? i would like to have enough power for some aerobatics (dont want avery underpowered airplane)
under $100 for the airframe (kits are fine as well, just keep it close to 100 w/ covering/ect)

I'd suggest a small .40 sized fun fly, like a Dazzler, Uproar, Fun 51 or Modeltech Magic.

Check out the Phoenix Models Dolphin 40. $100.00, flies great.

A Big Stick. But seriously, any mid-wing with appropriate size requirements would give you the flight you're looking for.

Keep your head up on a swivel.

i bought the tower fun 51, because it was cheap, flies well (aparently), and now that im on summer vacation i have plenty of free time to build a kit. and looks easy to cover (i want to try doing some graphic designs on it)

also tower says its in "limited stock", i have figured out that when a kit is in limited stock it means (sometimes not always) they are about to discontinue it.

i was going to get the proflie p-38 twin, but they discontinued it [] (i was waiting for the magnum 30 4 stroke to go on sale at hoppypeople.)

i wont build a kit that is ARF'ed. no sense in wasteing build time on something that i can just buy, their are too many good kits that i would never get to try if i spent my time building kits that are also arf's

i tested out that engine (has an airbleed carb) and it works fine. not overly powerful but it will work

Really, the escapade isn't bad and it shouldn't be underpowered, one guy ripped the wings off in a dive with a 46 ax in the nose, so the 40 should be good for it, the GP cherokee is good but if you want to venture into 3d, yes, find a 25 sized 3d machine and stick it in there, if you want a decent flying plane that teaches you power management but flies crisp clean lines, get the GP extra kit or US40 kit. If you want a comprimise, get the ne GP extra in the 55 inch size, but that is outside your price point, so I vote the escapade then the extra, then the US40. But that is just my flying preferences.

one of my favorite planes is the Gizmo from D&L Designs, I have one with a 46AX and its a blast to fly, I built the tail with large counter balanced control surfaces and boxed the ailerons it will do just about anything you can throw at it.

I also have a kit for sale in the classifieds
