I need something to work on, so I thought I could build an engine test stand. I just need some ideas on how to make a mounting area. Universal or for 40 size since that is all I got for now? Any pics would be sweet! Thanks!

this won't be much of a project but I have a sheet of 5/8 plywood that I've notched to fit different engines. I just use wood screws to secure them. I have a loose tank for running in engines that is secured by four wood screws.(one on each corner) and I use a junk RX and TX donated from a throw away RTF. I have a servo mounted with two sided tape for the throttle. not very complex but it works nicely.

Here is the stand that I use. I clamp it to a B&DWorkmate in the backyard and hook either a servo driver or a surface radio that I have laying aroun to control the throttle. The holder is an old one by Goldberg models.
