Hi all, for a looong time I was searching by some info´s about the italian Galaxy aerobatic design from Ruggiero Pasqualini. Yesterday I received a semi-plan and also a nice illustration about this sharp looking plane. I got impressed by the low profile from the ship and its aerodynamics lines.
The Galaxy must be a impressive speedster in the air with a hot engine
For those interested, please find the files in PDF below

Hi Carlo
I have Many memories with this plane
I had it 25 years ago, with another great Italian plane the Komet, and it was one of the greatest plane
I ever flew. lately I got back to the classic pattern planes and was trying to get the galaxy again,
but with no success, because it's very very rare.
I had a contact with a very nice guy from Italy, and he told me that maybe someone private in Italy will
make the molds and maybe he will kit it.
but, since then I haven't heard from him about it.
I wish I could earn this plane again and with the Rossi 61 you get the meaning balistic
Lately, I got my hand on the Komet, and began to work on it very slowly
[link]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8999331/anchors_8999331/mpage_1/key_/anchor/tm.htm#8999331[/link]
and during working on the Komet because I am waiting my friend to make me the foam wing I'm nearly finishing another great
plane the Modeltech Calypso
Regards
Avi

Hi Avi, thanks by sharing your nice fonds memories about the Galaxy. The lines from the design are impressive and also its aerodynamics are very fluid too.
I wonder the great speed that you attained with the Rossi 61, especially in low passes and in downlines

Hi Carlo
25 years ago it seemed very fast, but today
after I fly nearly 10 years jets particularly sport jet as the BVM Bandit then you get slightly different proportions.
But, there is nothing that can simulate the magic of these BPA planes like the Galaxy or the Phoenix 7,8 (I very much like) for example,
so after years I'm in the process of getting back flying BPA classic pattern.

Hi Galaxi admirers, here is a link to a Italian forum tread about this model that is currently (look in the later posts) being remanufactured with new molds for the glass fuse and foam wings and tail, including the last mods suggested directly by Ruggero himself ! We in Italy plan to organize a meeting in the next April os so. There should be about 15 models to be built so far !

Sure ! as far as I know, the man is actually producing wings and tails (as can be seen on the tread) and is going to make the mold for the glass fuse.
Let me tell him yours (and anybody else's !) request just to hear about delivery date and details.
Stay tuned, more news ASAP

Hello Cristiano,
This is for a fiberglass fuse and foam wing? What else is included? What needs to be supplied?
Can you check what shipping would be to the US?

These are wings of Galaxy and Gino De Dominicis, an old craftsman that worked in 80/90 for "Aviomodelli" and "Aeropiccola" two historic italian factory of model aircraft.
He kwows Merati too, the producer of Galaxy.
Now we are developing the last version of Galaxy with the direct collaboration of Ruggero Pasqualini.
You can see the perfect execution of all phases... ;-)
An explanation of text in the photos:
1 - Polystirene blocks cutted for seasoning: to exit humidity from interior cells
2 and 3 - cutting wings
4 - the perfect execution of trailing edge
5 - Gino says: you can not explain all my secrets! Text below says: Gino understands to be the subject of industrial spying!!

Foam wings are obeche covered with milled moving parts. Edges are included but to you only glue and sand them.
The parts to build and not included in the box are drawn to scale 1:1 (firewall, wings and tails tips and little else).
Wings are fitted with holes for the servos and the passage of the cables but everybody must make the holes for retractable gears.

Now we are realizing Wings and Tail surfaces. The fuselage is being studied but the work will begin soon to make the mold.
Is very complex and Gino love only make perfect things!

Hi Cristiano
First of all I want to thank you about your fast replay and explanation, because after your friend, Latinrclover, pointed
us to your forum I have to admit that I'm reading now page 20 using google translate and it takes time, and during reading
I thought to my self if and how I'm going to contact you, now you saved me this!
You can see that I'm already a member in your forum and I have been in contact with a very nice guy, Massimo, and
he helped me a lot with my Bertolani Komet.
I'm going to send you my e-mail and I intend to follow the development process of yours, as in my first option
there is the Galaxy along with the phoenix 7,8 and the EU-1. I'm very intrested!
How long it will be in production ?
By the way, 25 years ago my father was an exclusive Importer of Aviomodelli along with planes and many matirials from GT Merati
Benito Bertolani models, Mantua, Scorpio, Super Tiger and Rossi, to Israel and I know very well your friend work! IT IS SUPERB!!!
I knew all the kits of this company very well 25 years ago even if you dropped me from my bed
.
Regards
Avi

I have received your email with your add. Your email was sended from a different email address than the one above your letter. What do u prefer that I use for? or ?
Wings and tail surfaces are pratically ready; now we begin to mold the first fuselage. Between one month I think that we can send the first complete Galaxy (resurrected!)...
See u soon!

What would the shipping cost to USA east coast zip code 06032 be? Maybe pitstop000 would be interested in one and we could split the shipping costs?
