Offered for sale is a 27% Kit Built Pilot S2-A. This is an all wood built up kit covered with Sig Koverall and painted with PPG automotive paint to match the Holiday Inn Aerobatic Team of the late 80's. Power is provided by a Saito 300 TDDP twin cylinder, 4-stroke glow engine. This plane does not contain servos as I have been in the process of beefing up the old Futaba servos that were too weak for the task at hand.The prospective buyer will be required to install new servos (2 elevator, 2 aileron, one rudder and 1 throttle control). I had an onboard glow system mounted but its made this ship too heavy for any serious competition.
Because of its age and the lack of plasticizer in the paint, the finish has crazed and cracked in various locations. Will drive within 100 miles of Simpsonville, SC to meet with serious buyer.
