Behotec 160 propane start
THIS IS A 180 not a 160. An RCU glitch will not let me edit title!
Beautiful German turbine, 44 pounds thrust - only 7.41 hours. Propane start (1st time every time). Note to buyers: I talked to the factory about kero conversion and it's NOT economically feasible. Truth be told I have zero problem using propane but then I was a jet engine mech back in my youth.
last note: this is an older design and just like the older Jetcats, in high heat/humidity acceleration can be slow. If you don't live in the Deep South In the middle of August it's not a an issue. In normal weather it runs great. If you can live with those caveats you will be getting a remarkably fine engine for a crazy low price. Vid of it flying my MB330. A real powerhouse. This jet weighs 53 pounds and the majority of this vid is about 1/3 throttle. That's a big reason for the sale - I'm going to put a 160 in the MB339. Trade for a 160 will be considered.
