BD-5 kit by DCU, new in box
Thinning the collection.
This is a very rare, almost impossible to find NIB kit of the DCU BD-5!
68" span
48" length
680 square inch wing area
This is well sized for a small turbine or an EDF. There is no intake ducting. They're not really needed if going turbine.
Ronnie York ("Skybouncer" here on R/C Groups) has the molds for this plane (they're up for sale, by the way). Buyer could contact Ronnie and ask if he'll lay-up a set of intakes.
$525 picked up in the Harrisburg, PA area. I can ship at buyer's expense but rates are pretty high.
For a full price purchase, no delivery fee if you can meet in Buffalo, NY this coming Monday or Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and Laval, Canada and Richmond, VA next week, as well as Reno, Sacramento, Oakland and Ontario, California the following week. Contact me for details
This is a new, unbuilt kit. The photo of the completed model shows an example of a finished plane built from this kit.
Thanks for looking.
