How do you remove a rating you submitted after it has been posted?

You can submit a new rating and it will replace the existing one.

I understand that part.
I just wanted to know if there is a way to remove a rating completely, without leaving a new one.

You cannot entirely delete a rating yourself. If you would like to remove it entirely, please PM me the ad number and I can remove it for you.
