I personally don't like the new emails that come out every time a reply is made to a subscribed thread. I get way too many emails every day to allow another hundred or so to clutter up my inbox. I much prefer to get one email when a new post is made and then receive nothing again until I visit that thread.
So I decided to go an unsubscribe from the bulk of my subscribed threads and found out there is no 'bulk' way to deselect all entries.
I have many, many subscribed threads which are a carryover from psoting on the old RCU and cannot see myself sitting here for hours deselecting them all.
I don't want to turn off email notifications as a global setting though as I do want to receive some updates.

I am personally have this same problem and I can tell you that ADMINISTRATION here is working on it. I am asking questions and answering replies. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I will keep youposted
ALSO, have you noticed wether or not when you reply to a thread, there is a box that states NOTIFY ME VIA EMAIL WHEN.......this box might be automaticall getting checked and this could be part of the problem. You will have to continue to UNCHECK it for now
