The guy may have sent it though the reglular member profile system,, not the "make an offer" system. doesn't mean it was a scam, unfortunatly that system doesn't identify the member's user name in the email., but you should have him make any offers through the classifieds system

here's one I got the other day from a guy I sold a plane to months ago,, look like the same format ( with a bunch of dashes between the title and mesage, the system here is removing them)?

It's good to be careful when you get funny emails, your post was fine to let stand,, just redact the guys email addy maybe.
