I've been through and over my settings repeatedly. I click on the "notify me via e-mail when someone replies" (or something like that) each time i reply or start a thread. I have not recieved the first email since the site changed over to beta.
Idea's? If nothing else, I hope this has made you aware.
Rock on guys, the sites getting better and better.

Let us troubleshoot. Click "FORWARD" on this post and enter your own email in there. See if it makes it to you. It should send it within a minute or two. If no email then we know mail is getting tossed into a junk/spam/bulk email box of yours on your computer or at your isp. If you don't see it in your inbox then let me know who your isp is so I might trace the issue further.

I got zilch.
I do not have a spam blocker on my computer therefore nothing goes in my deleted or spam folder that I don't put there or I have "blocked" myself. And no, I haven't mistakenly "blocked" RCU (I checked).
My IP does not have a junk mail box either. If junk or spam is sent to me, I get it. Whoa boi do I get it.

Just now got off the phone with them. Nope, there is no spam block or filter on their mail server.......at all.
Please understand, I get more than 50 spams a day in which I have to personally delete.
I was getting the "reply" emails fine before the beta switch.
We'll get it worked out I'm sure.
And another thing, when I go to email someone else, the page is too big and can't submit........I can't even see submit.

try this last test.
go to the marketplace. click on any ad. then click the "tell a friend" link. send it to yourself and cc yourself. see if you get either.
we have everyone receiving email from the site so we know it is being sent out. can you (just for kicks) go to MyAccount also using the link at the top of the page and verify your email is exactly as you want it. if you have a 2nd account maybe try that as a test that emails are being generated for you.
I suspect they are being sent but never received from some sort of block. All isp's use various forms of filters or blocks. I've never seen it where they have zero measures in place to block junk mail or virus. I think our mail is getting mis-tagged possibly.

I received the test email from the marketplace. And no I don’t have a 2nd account.
So being able to receive emails from things such as “marketplace” would mean RCU isn’t being “filtered” right?
On to plan “B”.

Yes...this is good...it means just the forums are not getting email to you. This is easier to find now. I am going to be setting up a new email server to handle the forum mail and we'll see if that works. Should be up toward middle of the week.

I just sent you another email through the system. LMK if you get it. I also found out that our reverse DNS was not working thanks to sprint. It should be fixed in the coming hours. That may cause isp's to kick back email sent since they think it might be spam.

Try it again.
For some odd reason, I got a "welcome to the new motorcycle forum" email which I've posted in once or twice and that's about it. That doesn't matter though.....what does is that I recieved an email from the site.
We're getting closer.
