Shipping outside of US
Maybe some of the regular marketplace sellers can enlighten me, but why do most of the ads (at least the ones I've been interested in) state shipping to US only. Shipping to Canada cannot be any more difficult than within the US, other than some extra costs and that would be covered by the buyer anyway.

Dave:
I have bought all kinds of model stuff from the U.S., much from fellows that indicated shipping to U.S. only. Normally most will ship here if you contact them direct and ask- the extra cost is marginal and as you say the buyer pays it anyway. Just for your info, ensure you mention to sellers not to use UPS - they will hammer you with a large fee to clear the parcel through Customs, and the Post Office fee is only about 5 bucks. On a $25 item I bought last year, the UPS fee was $35, plus GST, and you have postage over and above that.

RE: Shipping outside of US
I have had a couple of guys say no... oh well their loss, and yes I absolutely agree about shippers. UPS is a rip off, you can't beat Canada Post for the $5 brokerage fee. I've purchased quite a bit via ebay and the postal office works great.
